The weekend leading up to this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day will include classic cars, coffee, art classes and plenty of live music to enjoy.

1. Columbia Cars and Coffee

Vintage car enthusiasts and local motorists will gather for the first Columbia Cars and Coffee of the year this weekend.

The monthly event, which occurs every third Saturday starting at 7 a.m., will take place at the corner of East 7th Street and Woodland Street, commonly known as the “heart of Motor Alley.”

Cars and Coffee has regularly been a popular event, featuring vintage and modern automobiles, as well as a chance for locals to socialize in a comfortable outdoor setting.

Admission is also free to attend.

2. Saturday Art Club at Spring Hill Enrichment Center

The Saturday Morning Art Club will meet at the Spring Hill Enrichment Center starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. The workshop is $40 to attend, which includes materials, instructions and light refreshments.
